Yes, I Am Still Here
Well, I just checked Google reader and discovered that Xantos had recently posted something on ExtremBored, and I felt obligated to return to this blog. I don't know why I am writing; if for no other, it is simply to let Xantos know she is not alone.
Everything and everyone has changed so much. People that were once closer than anyone else are now so distant that I barely know who they are. Sometimes I wonder what happened to that last group of freshmen in the trailers.
Parents warned us about this. They told us it would be hard. They told us that along our journey to adulthood, we would come to a dark forest, where it is easy to get lost. They told us that we would watch our friends take different paths through this forest, some would rejoin us others we would never see again. They said, "Don't worry; if you keep hope, you'll get out okay. We know; we've been through it." But they are not willing to go through it again with us. The ones that know the way only shout directions from outside, only making us more lost. We have no choice but to band together with those that are just as lost as we are.
Sorry about that rant, I feel so alone and the ones that claim to have been where I am won't return to help me through it. I understand that others probably feel the same way, so I will be there for as many people as possible.
